We have had our practice in Sunninghill since 2001, and moved into Sunninghill Village on Maxwell Drive in 2007, when the centre was completely refurbished.
Sunninghill Optometrists has become the Optometric practice to visit in the area, servicing the Sunninghill neighbourhood itself, Paulshof, Woodmead, Waterfall, Vorna Valley, Kyalami, Bryanston to mention a few. The people working in the offices in the area consult us regarding their visual requirements.
Specific office/desktop lenses are a revelation for the 45 year old + ensuring clear, comfortable vision at all distances at their workplace. The residents and their children, will make an appointment to determine wether specs are necessary or to upgrade their spectacles. There is a large range of frames and sunglasses available to suit all tastes.

About Wayne
The owner, Wayne Hayter, has been in practice for 25 years.
Besides comprehensive visual examinations, and photography of the retina to assess visual health, he is an expert in contact lenses, and has added the fitting of scleral lenses, (for high astigmatism and irregular corneas) to his range of speciality contact lenses available.
He has specialised in Sports Vision, where especially cyclists, runners and golfers have benefited from the corrected vision and the proper eye protection for their needs. The choice of sporting frame, the range of tints that are available, are all discussed and demonstrated by Wayne and his experienced staff.
